As many of you know, the LFMC Festival is coming up on Saturday, February 27th. Any students who are planning on participating should have their pieces memorized and prepared by the end of January. Mardi Gras falls the week before the Festival this year, and many students will probably be missing their lessons that week, so please be sure to have your children prepared ahead of time. This is not only a lesson in preparing in advance, but it is also a great opportunity for the students to become more comfortable performing in public. It is supposed to be a positive and encouraging experience, so let’s all do our best to encourage the students to do their best! There will be more details to come in the next couple of weeks.
